Scores Drop on Day 2 of B1G Golf Championship

FRENCH LICK, Ind. - All six Hoosiers came in with lower rounds on day two of the 2014 Big Ten Women's Golf Championship being contested on the Pete Dye Course at the French Lick Resort in French Lick, Ind.
Indiana is currently in 12th place with a score of 636 (322-314). Michigan State and Ohio State are tied for first (598), with Northwestern third (608), Illinois fourth (612) and Penn State fifth (614).
Sophomore Maria Mancini posted a 6-over 78 on Saturday and moved into the lead for IU and tied for 34th overall (79-78). Mancini had 12 holes of par or better, highlighted by a birdie on the opening par-4 10th hole, as well as the par-4 second hole.
Freshman Ana Sanjuan moved up to a tie for 37th with IU's low round of the day at 77 (81-77). Sanjuan was +5 after the first nine holes, but played even par golf after the turn with back-to-back birdies on three and four.
Junior Elizabeth Tong is tied for 41st after carding an 81 (78-81). Tong was one of just two players through the first two waves to birdie the par-4 12th hole. Her second birdie of the day came on the par-5 third hole.
Sophomore Camille Chevalier is 60th after a 6-over 78 in round two (85-78). Chevalier was just +1 after 10 holes, with birdies on 15 and one, but a double bogey on two and bogeys on three and four added to her score. She finished with pars on four of the final five holes.
Junior Kamryn Klawitter posted a 10-over 82 and is tied for 63rd (84-82). Klawitter was even through her first four holes before a bump with a bogey on 14, double on 15 and bogey on 16. She rallied with a birdie on 18, a hole she bogeyed the day before.
Junior Sarah Dusman is 72nd after an 86 today (89-86). Dusman carded a four on the par-5 14th hole, after putting up a double bogey in round one.
Indiana will play with Nebraska and Michigan for tomorrow's final round. The Hoosiers will begin teeing off from the 10th tee starting at 9 a.m. ET.
