Women's Golf Travels to Arizona for Westbrook Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University women's golf team is back in action this weekend as it travels to Peoria, Ariz. for the Westbrook Invitational, hosted by the University of Wisconsin.
The 14-team field in the Feb. 23-24 tournament features the host Badgers, Oregon, Ohio State, Illinois, College of Charleston, Oregon State, Kansas State, Nebraska, Washington State, Iowa, Tulsa, Colorado State and Eastern Michigan. Play will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. MT on Sunday for two rounds, with a final round starting at 8:30 a.m. MT Monday.

The Hoosiers are coming off a ninth-place finish at last weekend's Central District Invitational in Florida. Freshman Ana Sanjuan led the team with a 3-over 219, placing tied for 25th. She will compete in the No. 1 spot. Marissa DeCola comes in at No. 2, finishing tied for 31st last week with a 5-over 221.
Sophomore Maria Mancini will play at No. 3, finishing tied for 38th with a 7-over 223 in Florida. Junior Sarah Dusman makes her second-consecutive start after a strong finish in Florida, finishing tied for 50th with a 10-over 226. Rounding out the starting five is junior Elizabeth Tong, who placed tied for 53rd at the Central District, one stroke behind Dusman.
Also making the trip is freshman Camille Chevalier, competing as an individual. After a shaky start at the Central District Invitational, Chevalier picked up her game in her first-ever competition for IU with final two rounds of 75 and 78 to finish tied for 60th.
