    IU Women's Golf Heads Out on Spring Break Trip

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University women's golf team will cover both sides of the country as it takes a 10-day spring break trip, starting with the BYU at Entrada Classic (March 18-19) in Utah, and finishing up with the Briar's Creek Invitational (March 24-25) in South Carolina.

    Joining the Hoosiers at the BYU at Entrada Classic are the host Cougars, Colorado State, North Texas, Kansas State, Iowa, Minnesota, Texas State, California, Wisconsin, Weber State, Southern Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Dixie State and Utah Valley.

    The tournament will take place at Entrada at Snow Canyon Golf Course in St. George, Utah, site of the 2015 NCAA West Regional. The par-72 course will play at 6,015 yards. The teams will play 36 holes on March 17 beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET with a shotgun start. Final round is set for March 18 at 10:30 a.m. ET.

    The team will then head to the East Coast for its second-straight appearance at the Briar's Creek Invitational at The Golf Club at Briar's Creek in John's Island, S.C.

    Appearing in that tournament is host College of Charleston, Maryland, Penn State, Wisconsin, East Carolina, Texas Tech, Tennessee-Chattanooga, Coastal Carolina, Clemson, Augusta State, USF, Illinois, East Tennessee and Princeton.

    Making the trip for IU for both events are freshman Ana Sanjuan, junior Elizabeth Tong, sophomore Maria Mancini, sophomore Marissa DeCola and sophomore Camille Chevalier.

    Tong led the Hoosiers in their last outing at the Westbrook Spring Invitational, placing tied for sixth with a pair of under-par rounds and posting a 213 (71-70-72). Sanjuan finished tied for 33rd with scores of 73-76-71. Her final-round 71 marked her second under-par round this season. Mancini opened play at the Westbrook with a career-best 68 and finished tied for 39th (68-76-77).

    DeCola carded a 222 (+6) at the Westbrook in Arizona, while Chevalier tied for 55th playing as an individual (73-79-73).
