    DUPONT, Wash. - Former Indiana Hoosier Kristen Schelling made her eighth and final appearance at the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship, advancing to the match play round at The Home Course in DuPont, Washington.

    Schelling, who completed her career at IU in 2013, was tied for 41st in the field after two rounds of stroke play with a score of 146. Her +2 tally was met with rounds of 74 and 72, including five birdies in her second round of action.

    On Wednesday she teed off against Robynn Ree, with Ree winning the round 1 up. Schelling managed to get the score all square on the 12th hole, but Ree went 1 up with a birdie on 13 and held on for the remaining holes.
