    POWELL, Ohio - The duo of Indiana University women's golf sophomore Marissa DeCola and junior Sarah Dusman is tied for eighth after round one of the Pure Silk Women's Collegiate Team Championship Presented by the Women's Golf Coaches Association at Wedgewood Golf & Country Club in Powell, Ohio.

    DeCola and Dusman carded a 78 in round one of the alternate shot tournament, seven strokes behind leaders Liz Nagel and Trish Witherby of Michigan State. The duo had a pair of birdies on the round, with a four on the par-5 sixth hole and a two on the par-3 17th hole.

    Forty-two teams return to action on Wednesday morning for the second day of the Championship with DeCola and Dusman teeing off at 9:10 a.m. playing in a best ball format.

    The format of the Championship is day 1 (July 23): alternate shot; day 2 (July 24): best ball; and day 3 (July 25): aggregate score of the two players. Teams are comprised of players from all levels of collegiate golf including Division I, II and III programs.
