Hoosiers T-18th after Day 2 at Pure Silk Team Championship

POWELL, Ohio - The duo of Indiana University women's golf sophomore Marissa DeCola and junior Sarah Dusman is tied for 18th after round two of the Pure Silk Women's Collegiate Team Championship Presented by the Women's Golf Coaches Association at Wedgewood Golf & Country Club in Powell, Ohio.
The duo posted a 2-over 74 on day two, which was a best ball format. That gives them a tally of 152 entering the final round. Michigan State's Liz Nagel and Trisha Witherby continue to lead the field with a two-round score of 138.
DeCola and Dusman carded a 78 in round one of the alternate shot round. The duo had a pair of birdies on the round, with a four on the par-5 sixth hole and a two on the par-3 17th hole.
The format of the Championship is day 1 (July 23): alternate shot; day 2 (July 24): best ball; and day 3 (July 25): aggregate score of the two players. Teams are comprised of players from all levels of collegiate golf including Division I, II and III programs.
