Prep/Personal: Member of Great Bridge's varsity swim team through her high school career ... broke the 200 IM relay team record on the way to winning the 2006 regional chamionship meet.

The best thing about IU Rowing: "The best thing about the rowing team is that we all get along so well and that makes being part of a team a lot easier. We are all very competitive which makes practice more interesting because we all work to be the best and the competition makes us better as a team."

2007: I mostly sat 3 seat of the 2V in the spring. Within this year the differences between high school and collegiate rowing as well as how to push myself in ways that I never thought that I could.

2008: I rowed in the 2V as well and I sat 3 seat for most of spring season. I also received the Alpha Beta Award for academics.

What are you involved in on campus? (Are you a member of a sorority, any clubs, intramurals etc.?) I am a member of the Retail Studies Organization for Apparel Merchandising.

Do you have a job or volunteer regularly? I do not have a job but I do volunteer monthly with the team, sometimes we volunteer at the food bank. I know that I helped with Women in Sports day at Assembly Hall and this will be my second year helping with Bowl for Kids Sake.

What are you planning on majoring in? I am majoring in Apparel Merchandising and a minor in business

What are your plans for after you graduate? Are you planning on pursing any sort of higher education? Once I graduate I am planning on obtaining a job in the retail industry. I really want to work within the merchandising or product development departments of a successful apparel company. I want to be able to use my creativity to help design clothing or products. I am also hoping to live either in New York, Chicago or Los Angeles once I graduate.
