BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana Rowing team will race in the annual Princeton Chase on Sunday, Oct. 30, in Princeton, N.J. The Hoosiers will compete in the women's Varsity 8+ race at 11 a.m. ET on Lake Carnegie.

"The Princeton Chase is a great race for a lot of different reasons," Peterson said. "We're seeing a lot of good competition and it's also early in the year so we can see where we're at and fix whatever problems that we have."

Sunday's head-race will be a three-mile course. Competing in Indiana's Varsity 8+ crew will be Alex Burkle (coxswain), Grace Mendel, Asja Zero, Shifumi Terasaka, Cara Donley, Ann Thompson, Rachel Griffin, Kathryn Laine and Jaclyn Riedel.

"Training has been going very well," said Peterson. "We've been spending a lot of time in small boats and sculling, and doing things that really extenuate the technical side of things. We've also been putting in a lot of mileage to build a good solid aerobic base, which we will build upon for the spring. It's been very, very good."

Results from Sunday's Princeton Chase will be available here.
