Junior Year (2005)
A solid reserve for the Hoosiers for most of the season at either midfield or forward...played in all 19 games for IU...started in eight matches...had an assist for one point in 2005...fired 12 shots in her junior campaign...sole assist came in the Hoosiers' win over Xavier (9/11).
Sophomore Year (2004)
One of the fastest players on the team, she played in 18 games with 17 starts...scored two goals and an assist on the year for a total of five points...scored her first goal of the season and added an assist against Florida International (9/10)...tallied a score against conference rival Michigan State on (10/8).
Freshman Year (2003)
Was a major asset to the front line as she saw action in all 19 games, starting in 15...tallied four points on a goal and two assists...earned first career points in IU's 1-0 victory over Iowa on 10/3 after earning an assist on the game-winning goal...scored first career goal en route to a 4-0 win against Marshall on 10/5.
A four-year member of Olathe South's varsity team, earned first team all-state accolades in 2000 and 2001...landed a position on the United States Youth Soccer Association's 1985 Regional Olympic Development Program in the summer of 2002, representing Region II at the Interregional ODP event in Boca Raton, Fla....earned NEKSCA first team honors in 2000 and `02 and all-conference honors in 2002...Kansas City All-Metro honoree in 2002...also was named Olathe South's Outstanding Female Athlete and was the M.L. Winters Award winner in 2002...played club soccer for the KCFC Alliance Revolution, a team that ranked 14th nationally in 2002, were regional semifinalists that same year and were state champions in 2002-03...was a Kansas Honor Scholar and a member of the National Honor Society...earned scholastic letter each of her four years at Olathe South and was ranked in the top five percent of her class...won the Champion of Character Award from the Character Council of Olathe and earned the Olathe Student Citizenship and Recognition Award from the Olathe Public Schools Foundation...she earned the President's Award for Educational Excellence and was co-president of the calculus club...also selected as an Academic All-American by the United States Youth Soccer Association...has one sister, Sara, and one brother, Sam...parents are Dave and Rhonda DeFreece.
