Indiana Heads East To Battle No. 4 Penn State

Chloe McKay will be in her first season as a assistant coach with the Hoosiers in 2012 after serving as a student assistant coach and volunteer assistant coach in 2011.

McKay was a four-year letterwinner for the Hoosiers (2007-10) and finished her career with 16 assists, which is tied for third-most in program history. She was a freshman on the 2007 Sweet Sixteen team and had a team-best six assists on her way to being named to the SoccerBuzz Great Lakes Region All-Freshman Team. For her career, she appeared in 78 games to rank in the top 10 all-time at IU and also received Academic All-Big Ten honors.

A former midfielder from Suffield, Conn., McKay served as a student assistant coach for the Hoosiers during the 2011 season while completing her degree as a Fitness Specialist with a minor in psychology.

"I would like to thank Coach Lyon for this great opportunity to continue my involvement with Indiana women's soccer," said McKay. "I was blessed to be a part of this program for four years as a player and now I am excited to have a chance to be able to give back to the program as part of the coaching staff."
