Smith played midfield at McKinney High School where she was the all-time leading goal scorer in the school's history with 66 goals scored ... she is also the all-time leading assist champion with 63 assists ... has earned numerous honors such as three-year varsity captain, team Offensive Player of the Year and District MVP as a junior and senior ... was also named First Team All-District as a junior, sophomore and freshman ... she led the team to the Regional Qualifier in 2010 and the Area Qualifier in 2008 and 2009 under coach Alex Pantarotto ... ranked academically in the top 10 of an over 400-person class at McKinney ...
