BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Jessica Boots' goal with 8:21 to play gave Indiana a 2-1 victory over Oakland on Sunday. The victory marked IU's fifth come-from-behind wins on the season and finished off an undefeated home season (9-0-1). The Hoosiers improved to 12-2-2 (5-1-1 Big Ten) on the season.

Boots netted the game winner at 81:39 off a wild scramble in front of the net. Kristin Arnold ripped a shot from in the box that was stopped by a Golden Grizzly defender. After OU cleared it off the goal line, Boots wound and ripped a shot from 25 yards that tucked just under the crossbar for the sophomore's first goal of the season.

The Hoosiers tied the game just over two minutes into the second half on Chloe McKay's third goal of the season. With IU swarming the box, an attempted clear came to the freshman in the far corner of the box. The Suffield, Conn., native crushed a left-footed shot into the lower right corner to tie the game at 1-1 with 42:59 remaining.

The Golden Grizzlies got on the board at 25:59, with Kristi Evans notching her first goal of the season. Jessica Boyle took the ball on the right side of the box and sent a high cross to the center, where Evans wound and snapped a shot high into the upper left corner of the goal to make the score 1-0 in favor of the visitors.

Before the game, Indiana honored its five senior players - Beverly Markwort, Lindsay McCarthy, Kate Nierman, Katy Stewart and Suzie Teixeira - as it was the final regular-season game in their careers. IU's 9-0-1 record gave the Hoosiers their first undefeated season at Armstrong Stadium and the 12 wins on the season tied the 1993 squad for the second-most in school history.

The Hoosiers are back in action next weekend for a pair of crucial road conference contests at Ohio State and Penn State. IU takes on OSU on Friday at 7 p.m. in Columbus and then faces the Nittany Lions at 1 p.m. Sunday's contest against the Nittany Lions will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
