BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -
Indiana Women's Soccer head coach Mick Lyon announced the addition of 11 players for the 2012 season today (Feb. 22). Members of the class include Jessie Bujouves (London, Ontario, Canada), Kari Clark (Monte Sereno, Calif.), Kailee Feinstein (Irvine, Calif.), Caitlin O'Connor (Milton, Ga.), Rachel Romero (Richmond, Calif.), Alyssa Rosati (Clearwater, Fla.), Jen Stanley (Mission Viejo, Calif.), Kayleigh Steigerwalt (Columbus, Ind.), Meghan Wiles (Pendleton, Ind.), Katy Woolley (Dearborn, Mich.), Katie Greulich (Modesto, Calif.).
"We are very excited and happy for all 11 of the new players who will join us in the fall," Lyon said. "It is a mixed bag of west coast, southern, north of the border and solid midwest talent that I am very confident will be a big impact in the future of IU women's soccer. These young women have already shown me that they are hungry to get started and help get this program to the top of the Big Ten."

Forward/Midfield | 5'8 | London, Ontario, Canada | Saunders Secondary/Atletico de Madrid
Bujouves is a full member of the Canadian National Training program and was a on the provisional roster for the U17 Canadian World Cup team ... led Team Ontario to the U16 National Championship in 2010 ... currently resides in Madrid, Spain, where she plays for her club team, Atletico de Madrid and has led the team to first place in their league ... also played club soccer with the Michigan Hawks and finished in the top eight at the U16 ECNL Championships in Colorado last year ... while playing with the North London Galaxy, she was a silver medalist at the U18 Canadian Nationals in 2011 ... was also the top scorer on the U16 team that placed fifth at Canadian Nationals in 2010 ... team claimed the silver medal at the 2010 Ontario Cup as well ... at Saunders Secondary, was the Athlete of the Year in 2009 and 2010 ... named MVP of the Track and Field team in 2009 and 2010 after taking home the silver medal at the OFSAA Regional meet in the 800m and 1500m ... was named to the honor roll each of the past three years ... the daughter of Jim and Julie Bujouves ... had one sister, Laura ... intends to major in Human Biology at Indiana.
Defense | 5'5 | Monte Sereno, Calif. | Saratoga High School
Clark was a First Team All-League selection at Saratoga High School ... was also named Team MVP and Defensive MVP ... led Saratoga to the CCS Semifinals ... played club soccer for Alpine FC ... was part of the Alpine FC team that was a State Cup semifinalist and Regional Runner-up ... the daughter of Art and Kathy Clark ... has one sister, Kelly, and two brothers, Kris and Kyle ... intends to major in Advertising at Indiana.
Midfield | 5'5 | Irvine, Calif. | University High School
Led University High School to the Pacific Coach League title and a CIF Quarterfinals appearance ... served as team captain as a senior ... is a three-time Team MVP ... earned First Team All-PCL as a sophomore and senior ... was Second Team All-PCL as a freshman ... played club soccer for Legends FC '93 ... a two-time winner of the Surf Cup ... three-time USYS Cal South National Cup champion ... also won the USYS Far West Regional title and Cup title ... the daughter of Steven and Christine Feinstein ... has one older brother, Louis ... intends to major in Kinesiology at Indiana.
Defender/Midfield | 5'8 | Milton, Ga. | Milton High School
Led Milton to the Region 6 AAAAA Championship in each of her first three seasons as well as an appearance in the state playoffs all three years ... played club soccer for Atlanta United Fire ... helped the Fire to the Elite Club National League title and the US Club Regional title in 2010 ... played in the ECNL National tournament in 2011 and was a semi-finalist at the State Cup ... was the captain of the AFU '94 Elite team in 2011 ... the daughter of John and Laurie O'Connor .... has three sisters, Callie, Elizabeth and Terra, and three brothers, Jack, Nick and Clay ... intends to major in Exercise Science.
Midfield | 5'3 | Richmond, Calif. | Salesian High School
Scored 41 career goals and had 29 assists during her career at Salesian High School ... three-time All-BSAL First Team selection ... also received Second Team honors in BSAL ... a four-year member of the National Honors Society ... played volleyball for one year and won the conference title ... has played one season of club soccer with Pleasanton Rage and is currently the team captain ... the daughter of Robert and Pilar Romero ... has two sisters, Veronica and Katie ... is undecided on a major at Indiana.
Midfield | 5'7 | Clearwater, Fla. | Countryside High School
Led Countryside in points as a junior and senior ... a three-time all-county selection ... played in the 2012 county all-star game ... was the Team MVP as a junior ... led Countryside to the districts of the state playoffs all four years and one regional appearance in 2010 ... played club soccer for Tampa Bay United ... led United to the 2011 Atlanta Cup championship and the Disney Qualifier title ... was the runner up at the 2012 Disney Showcase and the National Premiere League ... earned a black belt at age six and was the State of Florida Karate Champion ... was featured in Sports Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd" at age seven ... also a published poet at age 16 ... the daughter of Albert and Patti Rosati ... has one sister, Christina ... intends to major in Sports Communications and Kinesiology at Indiana.
Midfield/Defense | 5'4 | Mission Viejo, Calif. | Mission Viejo High School
Stanley was named Second Team All-South Coast League in 2011 after leading Mission Viejo to a second place finish in the South Coast League and a CIF quarterfinals appearance ... served as team captain for the past two seasons ... is a three-time scholar athlete ... named a "Top Ten Freshman" by the Orange County Register ... as a freshman, Mission Viejo won the league title and went on to win the Excalibur Cup ... played club soccer for So Cal Blues ... helped the Blues to a pair of Far West Regional Championships ... a two-time Surf Cup finalist ... won the Blues Cup in 2007 and 2008 ... a USYSA National participant in 2009 and 2011 ... the daughter of Jeff and Tina Stanley ... has one sister, Jillian, who played softball at George Washington University ... intends to major in Business at Indiana.

Steigerwalt led Columbus North High School in goals scored all four seasons ... holds the school record for goals scored in a season (39) and career (113) ... received First Team All-State accolades three times ... named the Republic Newspaper Player of the Year in 2010 and 2011 ... Greulich is a two-time Modesto Metro Conference Goalkeeper of the Year at Fred C. Beyer High School ... named to the MMC First Team All-League twice ... led Beyer to a pair of sectional appearances in 2010 and 2011 ... named Academic All-League all four years ... is ranked in the Top 3 percent in her class ... also lettered in cross country and tennis ... played club soccer for AJAX United and Danville Mustang Blast U14 ... led AJAX to the NorCal State championship in 2010 and the US Club Regionals in 2011 ... while playing with Mustang Blast, won the 2009 State title, Far West Regional title and the National Championship ... was a state ODP invitee in 2007 and 2009 ... the daughter of Bill and Ann Greulich ... has one sister, Kristen ... intends to major in Business/Pre-Law at Indiana.
