    Over the next few weeks, IUHoosiers.com will profile each of the three IU Women's Soccer NLI signees. Today's preview is of Sacramento, Calif., native Hannah Davidson.

    Hannah Davidson joins IU Women's Soccer after playing four years at St. Francis High School in Sacramento, Calif. The 5-foot-9 defender served as team captain in both her junior and senior years.

    Davidson helped St. Francis to section titles in both her freshman and junior campaigns. In her junior campaign, The Sacramento Bee named her to the All-Metro Team. She played her club soccer for the San Juan Spirits, where the team was a Surf Cup finalist in 2008.

    Much of Davidson's experience has been earned through the Olympic Development Program. She was named to the Region IV Team in 2005, 2006 and 2008 and served as the state team captain for Cal North in 2008. She also was selected for the National Pool in 2005 and was named to the Y-League National Team in 2005 and 2006.

    Davidson has one brother, Matt. The daughter of Leon and Jennifer Davidson intends to major in Health Administration and was born on April 12, 1991.
