Hoosiers Host Spring Games at Armstrong Stadium, Saturday, April 6

Bloomington, Ind. The Indiana womens soccer team invites Hoosier soccer fans to its spring home games this Sunday, April 6. Admission is free and shortly after 2 p.m. the Indiana womens soccer team will be hosting a free youth clinic on the field at Armstrong Stadium.
Soccer action begins at 10 a.m. when the Evansville Elite and the Madison 56ers face off at Armstrong Stadium. Both programs are U-17 youth teams who travel to Bloomington for a full day of soccer action.
At Noon, Indiana squares off against Dayton for the showcase matchup of the afternoon. The game pits two collegiate programs against each other for two full 45-minute halves on the Hoosiers home field.
Following the IU vs. Dayton game, a free youth clinic will take place on the field at Armstrong Stadium. Both boys and girls are invited to attend the 45-minute clinic with the IU womens soccer team leading the way. Local community recreation programs have been invited, including the Grasshoppers, Kicks for Kids and the Girl Scouts.
The final game of the day will begin at 3 p.m. when IU takes on the U-17, Madison 56ers.
The Hoosiers will use the weekend to prepare for their Friday, April 11 matchup against Missouri in St. Louis. On Saturday, April 12, the Hoosiers will face Ball State in the inaugural Indiana Soccer Showcase. The Hoosiers will take on the Cardinals at 7 p.m. at Indianapolis Kuntz Memorial Soccer Stadium on the East Field.
