    Trio Of Hoosiers Named To Big Ten Women's Soccer Players To Watch List

    CHICAGO - The Big Ten Conference announced its 2013 women's soccer preseason coaches' poll and players to watch list on Wednesday, and the three Hoosiers on the Players to Watch List were Lisa Nouanesengsy, Rebecca Candler and Lara Ross.

    Nouanesengsy, a senior from Huber Heights, Ohio, tied for the team lead in goals scored last year with seven and is the only player in program history to have scored three goals in a game twice during her career.

    Candler, also a senior fro Medina, Ohio, set the school record for assists in a season last year with 10 and also added four goals to tie for the team lead in points with 18. She also had five assists during Big Ten play, which also set new program record.

    Another senior, Lara Ross, from Upper Arlington, Ohio, will be looked upon to be the anchor of the Hoosiers' defensive backfield. She has shown the ability to move forward with the attack as needed, scoring two goals last year as a junior.
