Bloomington, Ind. - The Hoosiers were able to claw their way to a 2-2 tie with Northwestern Sunday, Oct. 6 at Armstrong Stadium.

Over the weekend in play, IU got a 1-0 win over DePaul, and after falling behind early 2-0 to Northwestern, Indiana made a comeback on a pair of freshmen goals in the waning minutes of the game to send the game into overtime. Robin Barker got her first collegiate goal to open the scoring while freshman Kristen Zmijewski scored her third goal in as many game to even things up. The teams battled through double overtime but neither defense gave up a goal.
Indiana's record improves to 6-3-2, 2-1-2 in Big Ten action.
The Hoosiers look ahead to a pair of home games this weekend when they host Michigan State and Michigan, both formidable conference opponents. Michigan State comes off a 3-0 loss to Penn State and a 3-2 win over Ohio State while the Wolverines got the best of Penn State, 4-0 on Friday and outlasted the Buckeyes for the 1-0 win Sunday.
