    PENN STATE DEFEATS HOOSIERS, 2-1

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana (8-5, 3-4) faced their second consecutive ranked opponent when No. 13 Penn State (10-3-1, 6-1-1) visited Armstrong Stadium today. The Hoosiers fell to the Nittany Lions 2-1 in the last home match of the regular season.

    Although PSU rattled off 11 shots in the first half, they entered the lockerroom with just a one goal lead after Erin Killough scored with just 51 seconds rremaining in the half. Penn State added one more tally before Emily Bridenstine fed Kris Fosdick for Indiana's goal at the 81:02 mark. Keeper Merit Elzey made four saves for the Hoosiers.

    Indiana takes the show on the road for the remainder of the season. This weekend, the Hoosiers play at Wisconsin on Friday, October 17 at 5:00 pm and at Northwestern on Sunday, October 19 at 1:00 pm.
