Sarah Stone Earns Second Freshman of the Week Honor

PARK RIDGE, Ill. - Indiana redshirt freshman goalkeeper Sarah Stone picked up her second Freshman of the Week accolade from the Big Ten Conference on Monday the conference office announced.
Stone, making her third start of the season, made four saves against Purdue to pick up her second shutout of the year as the Hoosiers defeated the Boilermakers for the first time since 1999 in the regular season. Then on Sunday at Michigan State, Stone again got the start and allowed one goal while making four saves in the first half of play. Indiana went on to win, 2-1, in double overtime on Abby Smith's game-winning goal.
She was also named Co-Freshman of the Week on Oct. 1, 2012.
Indiana will play all three of its remaining regular season games at home, starting with Friday's meeting with Minnesota at 5:00 p.m. ET. Fans can catch the game live on BTN.com. The Indiana men's soccer team will play Michigan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night as well.
