Bloomington, Indiana -- It was up the the freshmen to make senior night for IU.

Hoosier freshman Lisa Tecklenburg made sure the first goal of her Hoosier career was golden as she found the net on a breakaway in the 95th minute to defeat Purdue 1-0 in the teams first ever meeting. Tecklenburg took the pass from fellow freshman Kristen Sprunger and fired it from 10 yards past Purdue goalkeeper Jocelyn Cavalier for the win.

The Boilermakers (7-9-0, 2-8-0 Big Ten) had a chance to capture the lead with two minutes remaining in regulation as Jessica Baumhoff took a shot from 12 yards, but IU senior Ashley Davis continued to be solid as she made the stop.
