Michelle Gardner Named Head Softball Coach at Indiana University
6/9/2008 - Indiana University Director of Athletics Rick Greenspan announced the hiring of Michelle Gardner as head softball coach on Monday. Gardner will be the eighth head coach in Indiana softball history and comes to IU after spending the previous six seasons at the University of Nevada, where she was recently named 2008 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Coach of the Year. Sara Olson Appears in Sports Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd"
Indiana rising sophomore pitcher Sara Olson is one six athletes to appear in the "Faces in the Crowd" section in the June 9 issue of the Sports Illustrated. Olson was selected to appear in the magazine after her amazing weekend at the plate and in the circle for the Hoosiers April 26-28.

Bogado Back In The Circle, This Time In The Olympics
Former IU standout pitcher Mariangee Bogado will lead her native country, Venezuela, in the Olympic Games this summer in Beijing, the first time Venezuela has ever qualified for the Olympics in the sport of softball.
