    Played in 53 games, while starting 52 • spent all of her time behind the plate • recorded 410 putouts on the season • drove in nine runs and scored 11 runs • carded four doubles, while also notching a homer against Wisconsin on 4/22 • drew the third-most walks on the team with 17 • roped a pivotal double against No. 3-seeded Iowa in the Big Ten Tournament, scoring the game-winning run on the successive play to defeat the Hawkeyes and advance to the conference semifinals • registered a .198 batting average, finishing the season on a tear with a eight hits in the last 10 games, including two 2-for-3 efforts against Purdue and Utah.

    FRESHMAN YEAR (2005)
    Started 53 games, second on the team, for the Hoosiers • split her time between catcher (21 games) and first base (32 games) • hit .209 with a homer, eight RBI and seven runs scored • was IU's second-best hitter in Big Ten games with a .289 average (13-for-45) • third on the squad with six doubles and fifth on the team with 37 total bases • in her first start, was 1-for-2 against Cal State Northridge in the Alexis Resort Classic on 2/5 • collected her first multi-hit game against Western Illinois with a 2-for-3 effort in the Holiday Inn-Select Tulsa Festival on 2/26 • posted a 2-for-3 game with her first collegiate home run, two RBI and a run scored versus Minnesota on 4/22 • in the following game against the Golden Gophers, was 1-for-1 with three walks and a stolen base on 4/23 • finished first on the team with 309 putouts • had a career-high 14 putouts versus Ball State on 3/22.

    Four year letterwinner at Central Dauphin • 2003 Central Dauphin Defensive Player of the Year and a Patriot News Big Eleven first-team member in both 2002 and 2003 • as a junior, Deaven carried a .410 batting average, adding to a sophomore campaign that saw her hit .383 with 10 home runs, nine doubles and a .398 on-base percentage • awarded the Lady Ram honor and selected Female Athlete of the Year as a senior.
