KENNESAW, Ga. - Junior Sara Olson hit a pair of home runs and went the distance in the circle, but the Wright State Raiders (1-0) rallied for a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth inning after the Hoosiers (0-1) had tied it in the top half of the inning. The game was played at Bailey Park on the campus of Kennesaw State University as part of the K-Club Classic. The first day of the tournament was wiped out due to snow.

"Obviously, our errors in the field hurt us today," Indiana head coach Michelle Gardner said, "but we gave ourselves a chance in the later innings and just came up a little short and that's all we can ask for in our first game on dirt of the season."

Olson got the IU offense going in the top of second inning when she drilled a long home run over the right field fence, hitting the scoreboard. It was her first of the season and the 10th of her career. Wright State responded with a run of their own in the bottom of the frame, and the game was tied 1-1 through two innings.

The Raiders got single runs in the fourth and fifth inning with the help of a pair of IU errors to take a 3-1 lead entering the final two innings. But Olson stepped to the plate in the top of the after Kelli Ritchison reached on a single to third base and promptly deposited her second home run of the game over the left field wall to tie the game at 3-3. It marked the first time since April 26, 2008, when Emily Bergeson hit three home runs against Illinois, that an IU player hit multiple home runs in a game.

The Indiana defense struggled in the bottom of the sixth and the Raiders were able to get two more runs and held on the top of the seventh for the 5-3 win.

Olson (0-1) took the loss for Indiana, allowing five runs - just one earned - in six innings while striking out seven.
