WOODSTOCK, Ga. - Indiana (4-6) used a dominating performance by Lora Olson in the circle to cruise to a 6-0 victory over Eastern Kentucky (3-2) at the Phyllis Rafter Memorial Tournament in Woodstock, Ga. Breanna Saucedo pounded out two hits while Shannon Cawley and Samantha Berenter both had a pair of RBIs in the game for the Hoosiers.

Olson (3-4) allowed two hits in the game and faced just four batters over the minimum on her way to the win. It is her first career shutout and third complete game of the season.

The Hoosiers scored three runs in the top of the first inning after Olson retired the Colonels in order in the top of the first. Saucedo and Jenna Abraham reached on infield singles and then Amanda Wagner was hit by the next pitch to load the bases with no outs. Cassie Gogreve's slow ground ball to shortstop led to the first run for IU. Two batters later, with Cawley at the plate and the bases still loaded, a wild pitch allowed the second IU run to score. Cawley then grounded out to shortstop to score the third run of the inning and give IU a 3-0 lead.

In the third inning, Cawley's single to right field scored Gogreve from second base to give Indiana a 4-0 edge. Berenter followed with a single to left field that scored a pair of runs to make it 6-0 in favor of Indiana.

That was all the run support Olson would need on this day, as she had command of all of her pitched and recorded five strikeouts - three on called third strikes.

Shaylon Robb (2-1) took the loss for EKU, allowing six runs on seven hits in five innings of work.

The victory was also the 250th in the head coach Michelle Gardner's career, including her six seasons at Nevada before coming to Bloomington.
