With Kelli Ritchison at the plate, U of L starting pitcher Tori Collins unleashed a wild pitch that brought Stander home from third to cut the Louisville lead to 2-1.

The Cardinals were back at it in the bottom of the fourth inning as they scored three runs on four hits and used an IU error to help prolong the inning and increase their lead to 5-1. The would go on to add another run in the bottom of the sixth on back-to-back doubles to get the final score of 6-1.
