    Over the next couple weeks leading up to the season opener on Feb. 13, IUHoosiers.com will take a look at each of the newcomers to the IU Softball program. First up is freshman Amanda Wagner (Burbank, Ill.).

    Wagner played four years at Queen of Peace High School and set numerous school records at the plate. Below are some questions that will help fans get to know her a little better.

    What is the best food dish you can make?
    Grilled Ham and Cheese

    My Dad

    Arthur

    What is your favorite softball memory to this point?
    Putting on my IU jersey for the first time.

    For the love of the game

    Singin' In The Rain

    If you could have dinner with 3 other people, who would you choose?
    My parents and my brother.

    If you were not playing softball, what other sport would you like to play in college?
    Tennis

    What was your first thought when you walked into the weight room in the North End Zone (the largest in the country) for the first time?
    This is awesome!

    What is your favorite part about the IU Campus?
    When it snows on campus.

    Chicago Bears
