Weather Forces Changes to Classic Schedule
March 4, 2007
CARBONDALE, Ill. - Cold weather in the area has forced more changes to the Kay Brechtelsbauer Southern Classic schedule, pushing Indiana's game against Ball State to a 3 p.m. start on Sunday, March 4.
The Hoosiers' game against Southern Illinois, which had been scheduled for a 4 p.m. start, might not be played. If it is, it will follow the Indiana-Ball state contest.
Cold temperatures and the threat of snow had already affected the tournament prior to today's announcement, as Ohio University dropped out of the tournament a few days ago, shuffling the times of the remaining teams' games.
The Hoosiers (2-4) opened play at the Classic yesterday with a 6-2 loss to Western Illinois.
