    HOOSIERS SPLIT TWO ON THE LAST DAY OF THE MISSOURI INVITATIONAL

    COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Indiana softball team (8-12) split two games on the last day of the Missouri Invitational Sunday.

    The Hoosiers won the first game 8-0 over Northern Iowa. IU scored six of the eight runs in the top of the third with one more run in the first and fifth innings. Junior Teresa Martinez got the win.

    Drake squeaked out a 5-4 victory in IU's final game of the invitational. The Hoosiers scored one run in bottom of the seventh, but failed to pull even.
