Rain Forces Change to IU Classic Schedule

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Although three of the four scheduled games were played, rain in the Bloomington area forced the postponement of game four of the IU Classic on Friday, March 23. Buffalo and Eastern Michigan will now do battle at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24.
Three of Saturday's scheduled games will all be moved back two hours, while the fourth will be played on Sunday, March 25.
Eastern Michigan and Illinois-Chicago will now play at noon rather than 10 a.m., while Indiana's contest against Buffalo will now take place at 2 p.m. instead of noon. The first game of bracket play, which will pit the top seed against the third seed, will take place at 4 p.m. instead of 2 p.m.
The bracket game featuring the second seed agaisnt the fourth seed will take place on Sunday, with the time to be determined. The remaining two bracket games will also be played on Sunday, with those times to be determined, as well.
In the first day of action at the IU Classic, Illinois-Chicago topped Buffalo 11-1 in five innings, IU defeated UIC 2-1 and the Hoosiers capped the day with a 3-1 win over Eastern Michigan.
