BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University Head Softball coach Michelle Gardner and her staff have announced the dates for their annual Fall Team Camps as well as their Fall Sessions and College Exposure and Skills Camp in partnership with the National Softball Association.
The Hitting, Pitching and Catching Clinics are available in two fall sessions. Session I begins Sept. 12, and Session II will start October 17- each will hold two one-hour sessions on Wednesday evenings from 7-8 p.m. ET as well as 8-9 p.m. ET. Campers may sign up for any or all sessions. Camps are geared to develop fundamental skills in hitting, pitching and catching while working with an experienced staff. The coach-to-camper ratio is excellent as each session is only open to 15 campers.
On October 7, IU is partnering with the NSA in their College Exposure and Skills Camp. This event is open to any and all participants. Format will include three games as well as a 1.5 hour skills camp. Teams interested in playing must register online at www.playnsa.com.
The team camp, scheduled for Nov. 16-18, is open to 18U and 16U teams and was established to enable teams to work together on fundamentals and utilize those skills in game situations. IU Team Camps include a four-game guarantee and an additional two hour camp session for all players. Our state-of-the-art Mellencamp Pavilion features 100,000 square feet of playing surface and 68-foot tall ceiling, perfect for live hitting.
