    SENIOR YEAR (2011-12)

    Finished fourth in the 400-meter individual medley at the 2011 ConcoPhillips National Championships ... that performance earned her a spot on the 2011-12 USA Swimming National Team ... represented Team USA at the 2011 Pan Am Games in Mexico, where she won a bronze medal in the 400-meter IM ... set a new school record of 1:56.80 in the 200-yard IM at the Georgia Invitational.

    JUNIOR YEAR (2010-11)

    Big Ten Champion in the 200 individual medley and 400 individual medley ... set a then-school and new CBAC pool record in the 200 IM (1:57.01) ... her time of 4:04.59 in the 400 IM was a then-Big Ten record ... placed third in the 200 breaststroke with a school-record time of 2:07.71 ... first-team All-Big Ten ... earned All-America honors with an 11th-place finish in the 200 IM at the NCAA Championships, posting a time of 1:57.45 ... that is the third-fastest time in school history ... placed fifth in the 400 IM, breaking her own Big Ten record with a time of 4:04.30 ... became a three-time All-American at the meet with an 11th-place finish in the 200 breaststroke (2:09.70-third fastest in school history).

    SOPHOMORE YEAR (2009-10)

    Placed 14th in the 200 breaststroke at the NCAA Championships, earning All-America honors (2:10.69) ... also took 31st in the 200 IM (1:59.85) and 26th in the 400 IM (4:13.94) ... won her first Big Ten title in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:06.94 ... also took third in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:10.66 ... finished eighth in the 200 individual medley ... finished third in the 100 breaststroke with a season best time of 1:04.42 in a dual meet win over Louisville ... fifth in the 100 breaststroke in a double dual with Texas and Michigan (1:04.72) ... took 19th in the 200 breaststroke at the 2009 U.S. Short Course Nationals (2:15.23) ... victorious in the 200 breaststroke in a dual meet win over Purdue (2:16.21) ... victorious in the 200 breaststroke in a double dual with Michigan and Texas (2:17.90) ... 22nd in the 200 individual medley at the U.S. Short Course Nationals (2:01.40) ... won the 200 IM in the dual meet win over Purdue (2:03.01) ... eighth in the 400 IM at the U.S. Short Course Nationals (4:15.10) ... third in the 400 IM in a double dual with Texas and Michigan (4:15.84) ... over the course of the season posted one A cut and six B cuts in the 400 IM.

    FRESHMAN YEAR (2008-09)

    Placed 11th in the 200-meter individual medley at the 2009 U.S. Open with a school-record time of 2:15.92 ... also took 20th in the 400-meter individual medley (4:51.87) ... clocked a season-best time of 2:21.22 in the 200 breaststroke at the IU Last Chance Meet ... also posted season bests in the 200 IM (2:04.82) and 400 IM (4:23.07) at the meet ... season best of 1:08.10 in the 100 breast came in a dual meet win over Purdue ... mid-year transfer from Virginia.

    PREP/PERSONAL

    A five-time Pennsylvania state champion and 18-time All-American ... won states in the 200 IM as a freshman, sophomore and junior ... took second in the event as a senior ... also won the 100 breaststroke her junior and senior seasons ... second in the 100 breast as a sophomore and part of runner-up 200 medley relay team as a junior ... 17-time district champion ... 2008 Olympic Trials qualifier in the 200 IM and 400 IM ... helped her team win its first district championship in 2008 ... state record holder in the 200 IM ... helped lead team to a second-place finish at the state meet with just four competitors ... class valedictorian ... plans to major in biology ... parents are Dennis and Geri Vavra ... has two sisters (Sami, Karoline) and one brother (Anthony) ... born Jan. 3, 1990.
