    Day 3 Results Get Acrobat Reader

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's tennis team wrapped up the final day of play at the IU Winter Invitational on Monday morning. One final round of doubles was played as the Hoosiers won three out of four doubles matches.

    Indiana's Carolyn Chupa and Katie Klyczek cruised in a 6-1 win over Abilene Christian's Kaysie Hermsdorf and Mica Hermsdorf. IU's Sophie Garre and Kayla Fujimoto also dominated their match against Harvard's Amy He and Amanda Lin with a final 6-1 score.

    Gabrielle Rubenstein and Kim Schmider of Indiana picked up the third win of the day for the Hoosiers, blanking Ansley Boarman of ACU and Aleeza Kanner of Marquette, 6-0.

    For the weekend, the Hoosiers combined to go 16-4 in singles play and 16-3 in doubles play.

    IU will open dual play next weekend with a double-header in Cincinnati, Ohio on Saturday, Jan. 25, against Xavier and Cincinnati. The Hoosiers will then return home for a match against Eastern Kentucky on Sunday, Jan. 26, at Noon ET.
