    MUNCIE, Ind. - Indiana Women's Tennis (4-0) capped off their two-matches-in-two-states day by rolling over the Ball State Cardinals (0-1), 7-0. The Hoosiers did not drop a set in any of the matches.

    Indiana stormed through the doubles competition by tallies of 8-2, 8-4 and 8-1. Lindsey Stuckey and Evgeniya Vertesheva improved their season doubles record together to 4-0.

    Speaking of Vertesheva, she is now 15-2 overall in singles play following a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles Saturday evening. Junior Myriam Sopel moved up to the No. 3 slot and delivered with a dominating 6-0, 6-1 performance. Maria Guerreiro rounded out the line-up, posting a 6-3, 6-0 win at sixth singles.

    No. 4- Katya Zapadalova (IU) def. Georgina Thomson (BSU) 6-3, 6-2
    No. 5- Lindsey Stuckey (IU) def. Kylee Johnson (BSU) 6-1, 6-2
    No. 6- Maria Guerreiro (IU) def. Katherine Rist (BSU) 6-3, 6-0

    The Cream and Crimson return to Bloomington for their next competition, hosting a doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 30. Indiana will welcome in Marquette (9:30 a.m.) and Cincinnati (2 p.m.). Live match results will be available right here at IUHoosiers.com.
