    Day Three Results Get Acrobat Reader

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Indiana women's tennis team had a good day on the courts on Sunday. The Hoosiers went 7-1 in singles on the final day of the June Stewart Invitational at Vanderbilt.

    IU's Carolyn Chupa was dominant in her 6-0, 6-0 win over Vanderbilt's Maggie Leavell. Katie Klyczek also rolled in her 6-1, 6-2 triumph over William and Mary's Leeza Nemchinov.

    Alecia Kauss, Sophie Garre and Paula Gutierrez all won in straight sets as well over opponents from William and Mary. Kauss downed Melanie Roy, 6-3, 6-1. Garre took down Julia Casselburt, 6-0, 6-4. Gutierrez dropped just one game for a 6-0, 6-1 win over Sydney Smith.

    It took a third set to decide Kayla Fujimoto's victory over William and Mary's Nabila Farah with a tally of 6-4, 1-6, 6-3. Indiana's Gabrielle Rubenstein fell in her first set before coming back to beat Tennessee's Ashlee Boles, 2-6, 6-2, 6-2.

    Indiana has just one more fall tournament left on the schedule at Western Michigan on Nov. 8-10.
