Hoosiers Complete Day One of WMU Super Challenge

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Indiana women's tennis concluded day one of the Western Michigan University Super Challenge on Friday evening. The first day of the invite featured one round of singles play and two rounds of doubles.
In singles, Leslie Hureau earned her first win of the fall over Patricia Fargas of DePaul in straight sets, 7-6, 6-0. Evgeniya Vertesheva also picked up a single win over DePaul's Gia McKnight, 6-4, 6-4. Sophie Garre was the third Hoosier with a singles triumph over Cali Gustafson, also of DePaul, 7-6, 6-3.
Play will continue at the WMU Super Challenge on Saturday morning. The teams will play one round of doubles and another round of singles. Competition will begin at 10 a.m. ET.
