Sunday's first match against Western Michigan marks the 1,000th career match for Head Coach Lin Loring. In 36 years of coaching, including 32 seasons at IU, he has amassed an all-time Division-I women's tennis record 733 victories. The next closest competitor for that record trails Loring by 139 wins heading into the 2010 spring season.

Thirty-nine of those victories came during the 1982 AIAW National Championship season, Indiana's first women's national title ever.

Loring is also the winningest coach in conference history with 328 triumphs and a winning percentage of over .800 (328-75).

Indiana is coming off a very successful fall season which saw the Hoosiers compile an overall singles record of 51-21 (.708) while posting a doubles winning percentage of .718 (28-11).
