No. 91 Leslie Hurea, Evgeniya Vertesheva and Charlotte Martin all posted wins in straight sets, as Kayla Fujimoto and Sophie Garre also picked up victories after match tiebreakers were played to determine the third set winner. Diana Kyllmann fell short to KSU's Carmen Borau Ramos.

"With the exception of some hopefully minor injuries, it was a perfect tournament for us," Head Coach Lin Loring said. "It was the tennis version of three exhibition matches. We got in a lot of good tennis and should be ready for our three matches next weekend to start our team season."

The Hoosiers will host a trio of schools next weekend at the IU Tennis Center. Indiana will welcome Western Michigan on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 9:30 a.m. Then on Sunday, Jan. 22, IU will battle Xavier at 11 a.m., then Ball State at 4 p.m.
