    Hoosiers Hit Road for a Pair of Dual Matches

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The No. 39 Indiana women's tennis team will hit the road this weekend to take on Western Michigan on Friday, Jan. 31 and then will take on No. 23 Notre Dame on Sunday, Feb. 2. The Hoosiers will get started at WMU at 1 p.m. ET and the match against the Fight Irish will begin at 10 a.m.

    Indiana head women's tennis coach Lin Loring currently sits at 799 career victories as a head coach. He is in his 37th season at the helm of the IU program and his 41st overall. He owns a career record of 799-308 (.722), more wins than anyone else in college tennis history as he looks for his 800th career triumph.

    Western Michigan sits at 3-1 on the young season with its only loss coming to a ranked Notre Dame team. WMU's Kathleen Hawkins sits at No. 55 in the ITA National Singles Rankings.

    Quinn Gleason of Notre Dame ranks 67th in singles nationally. In doubles, Gleason teams with Britney Sanders to rank 30th in the country. ND's tandem of Monica Robinson and Jennifer Kellner are also ranked in doubles nationally sitting at No. 26. As a team, the Fighting Irish are 3-1 on the year with its lone loss coming to No. 24 Arizona State.

    The Hoosiers sit at 3-0 on the year with a trio of 7-0 wins last weekend over Xavier, Cincinnati and Eastern Kentucky.
