BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's tennis team remains ranked 29th in nation according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division I Rankings released on Feb. 1.
Stanford retained the top spot by garnering eight first-place votes for a total of 600 points. Florida is second (592), followed by Clemson (584), UCLA (574) and Northwestern (570) to round out the top-five.
Michigan is the second Big Ten team ranked among the elite, 21st overall with 432 points, while the Hoosiers stand third among conference squads with 362 points.
The Hoosiers will be idle until Feb. 12-13, when they host a trio of matches in the IU Varsity Tennis Center. The Cream and Crimson welcome No. 30 Wake Forest on Saturday at 10 a.m., and No. 16 Texas A&M and Butler on Sunday at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
