On the last week and a half of practice:

    LL
: "We have worked a lot on our doubles combinations. That is an ongoing process and will be until we start Big Ten matches. We have spent some time working on individual things - two or three things individually that we think each person needs to work on to get better."

    On the opponents this weekend:

    LL
: "We lost to Texas A&M and Wake Forest the last time that we played them. Both of these matches were on the road. Texas A&M had a good showing this last weekend at the National Team Indoor Championship. Wake is a very good team. They finished ahead of us last year as did Texas A&M. Butler will give us some good matches throughout the line-up."

On what he would like to see out of the team:

    L
L: "I would like for us to play at a higher level this weekend, than we did against North Carolina and Duke. If we do that, it will make for some very competitive matches."

On the tough stretch of non-conference schedule:

    LL
: "This will get us prepared for the Big Ten season. Hopefully, we will be able to go into any match thinking that we have already played four teams in the top 25. We will definitely be battle-tested heading in the Big Ten matches."

On matches against opponents that are not ranked and worrying about a letdown:

    LL
: "I'm not worried about a letdown. The players are hungry for wins against all of the opponents that they play."
