IU Women's Tennis Hosts DePaul, Cleveland State This Weekend
Feb. 18, 2011
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana returns to Bloomington for a pair of matches this weekend at the IU Tennis Center. The No. 47 Hoosiers will welcome No. 34 DePaul on Saturday and Cleveland State on Sunday. Both matches will begin at 11 a.m. ET.
Indiana stands at 7-2 on the season and hopes to bounce back after the setback last weekend at Tennessee. Sophomore Leslie Hureau looks to continue her stellar play this weekend. Hureau is currently 17-2 on the year, which includes wins over No. 39 Natalie Pluskota of Tennessee and No. 107 Courtney Collins of Memphis. Her only setbacks this year came to a pair of the best players in the country in last year's NCAA Singles Champion Chelsey Gullickson of Georgia and then-No. 25 Nadine Fahoum of Duke.
DePaul's doubles duo of Katarina Milinkovic and Gia McKnight are currently ranked No. 55 in the country. As a team, the Blue Demons are 4-3 on the year, winning in each of their last four matches. Cleveland State comes to Bloomington riding a two-match win streak with a record of 3-3 overall.
