Head Coach Lin Loring said, "Marquette beat us last year, so it was a good win for us. Hopefully, we can continue this level of play, especially in singles. We lost a lot of close matches last year, because of our singles. Last year, we lost to both of our opponents (Iowa and Wisconsin) that we are playing next week, so we are looking forward to reversing those matches."
The Hoosiers will begin their Big Ten season next weekend with a match against Wisconsin on Saturday and Iowa on Sunday. Both matches will start at 10 a.m. and will take place at the IU Tennis Center.
