For the Hoosiers in doubles, Batty and Linda Tran picked up an 8-2 win and Schlukebir and Vastag had an 8-1 victory.
Indiana later facing Ball State, swept the doubles and singles for a 7-0 victory.
Indiana head coach Lin Loring was pleased with the way the Hoosiers have improved from last season.
We lost to DePaul last year and they have improved, so that was a nice win, Loring said. Thats the second team weve beaten this year that we lost to last year. Its really important we keep improving because we have eight more teams on our schedule that we lost to last year.
The Hoosiers travel to the state of Texas for their final two non-conference matches of the spring dual season. Indiana takes on 16th-ranked Texas A&M on Tuesday, Mar. 16 at 6 p.m. The Hoosiers then play 44th-ranked Texas Christian at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Mar. 18.
