Senior Laura McGaffigan is one of Indiana's most dependable players. She competes at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Hoosiers. McGaffigan sat down with IUHOOSIERS.com to answer a few questions about herself.
If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
If I could visit anywhere in the world, it would definitely be Europe so I could hang out with my teammates in their homeland.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Hopefully in 10 years I will be a successful business woman who finds time to play competitive tennis in a USTA women's tennis league.
What is your favorite sport besides tennis?
My favorite sport besides tennis is volleyball.
Who has had the biggest influence in your life and why?
My sisters (Jenny, Katie, and Chrissie) have definitely had the biggest influence on me because they are the most caring people I know and they set great examples for me to follow. I want to be just like them.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory was when I was supposed to be sleeping and I snuck into the kitchen and licked all of the frosting off of my sister's birthday cupcakes that she was supposed to take to her school.
What is your favorite tennis memory?
My favorite tennis memory was when our team won the Big Ten championship my freshman year.
Something that many people don't know about you is:
Something that many people don't know about me is that I am a huge prankster. I especially like playing tricks on Coach Azcui!
Name one thing that you wish you were better at?
I wish I were better at golf.

My favorite thing about Bloomington is the night life.
What do you like to do when you're not playing tennis?
When I am not playing tennis, I love to bake and cook.
