BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University women's tennis team (10-7, 2-2) wrapped up their non-conference schedule last week and now face Big Ten competition for the rest of the regular season, including Iowa (7-9, 2-3) and Minnesota (9-7, 2-3) at home this weekend.

Both matches are set to begin at 11 a.m. EST and will be played at the IU Varsity Tennis courts if weather permits. If inclement weather occurs, the matches will be moved indoors to the IU Tennis Center.

The Hoosiers have controlled the all-time series against the Hawkeyes and Golden Gophers. Indiana holds a 27-7 advantage versus Iowa and have won 29 of 35 all-time meetings with Minnesota.

Iowa enters the weekend ranked 69th nationally while Minnesota comes in at 65. Individually, Iowa's Sonja Molnar is the 92-ranked singles player.

It is April 4th, and the Hoosiers finally get the chance to play a conference opponent at home in Bloomington. The schedule-makers did Indiana no favors as IU began the Big Ten slate with four consecutive road matches before this weekend. The Hoosiers weathered the storm, however, splitting the road trip and coming away with a 2-2 conference record.

By season's end Head Coach Lin Loring is likely to have reached yet another career milestone worth mentioning. Saturday will be the 993rd match he has coached in his career, leaving him just seven away from hitting the millenium mark and coaching his 1,000th career match.
