BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The No. 34 Indiana women's tennis team returns home for the first time in three weeks to battle Minnesota and Wisconsin this weekend. The Hoosiers and Golden Gophers will square off on Saturday, April 13, and then IU will take on the Badgers on Sunday, April 14. Both matches begin at 11 a.m. ET at the IU Varsity Tennis Courts if weather permits.

Indiana, which now sits at 15-6 on the season the 4-3 in Big Ten play, has won four of its last five matches. Sophomore Katie Klyczek sits at No. 90 in the most recent ITA National Singles Rankings, the highest mark of her collegiate career. Senior Leslie Hureau is ranked 122nd nationally.

Minnesota sits at 9-10 on the year and 3-4 in conference play heading into the weekend. Common opponents of the Gophers and Hoosiers so far in Big Ten matches this year have been Penn State and Michigan State. Both squads defeated MSU, but IU fell to PSU earlier in the year as Minnesota topped the Nittany Lions.

Wisconsin (4-14, 2-5) is looking for its first road win of the season this weekend. The Badgers will battle Purdue on Saturday before arriving in Bloomington on Sunday. UW topped the Hoosiers a year ago in Madison.

Indiana has just four regular season matches remaining on the season. After hosting two matches this weekend, the Hoosiers will wrap up the regular season schedule at home against Illinois on April 19 and then will hit the road to battle Northwestern on April 21. On April 25-28, the 2013 Big Ten Women's Tennis Tournament will invade Bloomington as IU hosts this year.
