BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The No. 48 Indiana women's tennis team will host No. 16 Michigan and No. 67 Michigan State this weekend for the final two matches of the regular season. The Hoosiers will take on the Wolverines on Saturday, April 19 and then battle the Spartans on Sunday, April 20, with both matches beginning at 11 a.m. ET.

IU will celebrate the careers of its three seniors in Kayla Fujimoto, Sophie Garre and Gabrielle Rubenstein on Sunday. The Hoosiers will also salute senior manager Ellie Hay.

Indiana sits at 17-7 on the season and 5-4 in Big Ten play. IU is tied for sixth place in the Big Ten with Michigan State. Three teams (Minnesota, Purdue, Ohio State) sit just one win in front of the Hoosiers and Spartans in the standings at 6-3 as Michigan and Northwestern have already sealed the top two spots in the conference. All Big Ten matches this weekend are vital to the seeding of next weekend's Big Ten Women's Tennis Tournament hosted by Northwestern.

Michigan has four players ranked nationally in singles led by Emina Bektas who sits at No. 9. Also ranked in singles for Michigan are Ronit Yurovsky (No. 22), Amy Zhu (No. 113) and Sarah Lee (No. 122). The Wolverines also have three doubles combos ranked nationally.

The Spartans will take on Purdue on Saturday before battling the Hoosiers on Sunday. MSU is 17-6 this season and 5-4 in conference play. Marina Bohrer is ranked in the latest ITA National Singles Rankings for Michigan State at No. 112. She teams with Erin Faulkner in doubles to rank 62nd nationally.
