    NCAA Doubles Championship Pushed Back

Stanford, Cal. - The Hoosier duo of junior Karie Schlukebir and Linda Tran will have to wait another day before beginning the NCAA Doubles tournament. The event was pushed back one day due to rain on Monday the first day of competition.

The NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships were scheduled to begin on Monday with singles competition beginning at 12:00 p.m. est. But the rains came and forced the cancellation of the first day of play, and thus pushing back the doubles competition. The doubles competition was scheduled to begin on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. est., but due to the rain on Monday, they have been pushed back to Wednesday.

Schlukebir and Tran will take on the 20th ranked California tandem of Jody Scheldt and Raquel Kops-Jones in the first round of the Championship. The time for first round matches are still to be announced. Check our official website, iuhoosiers.com, for updates.
