    Indiana Pair Falls in Finals

Bloomington, Ind. -Senior Karie Schlukebir and junior Linda Tran's hopes of a National Championship fell short on Tuesday, when the duo lost to the sister duo of Jennifer McGaffigan from Illinois and Kathleen McGaffigan from Wisconsin, 8-2.

With the victory at the ITA National Summer Championships in Bloomington, the McGaffigan's earn a spot in the main draw of the All-American played later this year. Schlukebir and Tran earned a birth in the qualification round for the All-American with their second-place finish.

The ITA Summer Nationals wrapped up on Tuesday with six champions being crowned. Tennessee's Wade Orr claimed two of those titles as he won the men's main draw event and then teamed with Lee Walker of Memphis to win the men's doubles event. Orr downed Chris Martin of Illinois in the men's final, 6-3, 7-5. Orr and Walker then ousted Drew Hoskins and Pete Stroer of Texas 8-4 in the final.

The women's champion was Sadnaf Pervez of Ohio State. She downed Louisiana State's Jessica Ferguson, 6-0, 6-2.
