BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's tennis fall schedule continues this weekend as the team heads to the University of Kansas to begin tournament play on Friday, Oct. 21. The tournament will conclude on Oct. 23.

Other teams participating this weekend include Abilene Christian, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Marquette and University of Missouri-Kansas City.

The Hoosiers will send six players to Lawrence this weekend including Ariel Beckerman, Carolyn Chupa, Sophie Garre, Alecia Kauss, Katie Klyczek and Diana Kyllmann. This will be the first competition for these six since IU hosted the adidas Hoosier Classic in September.

"We are leaving our three singles starters from last year at home," head coach Lin Loring said. "This will be a great opportunity for our freshmen and sophomores to get in a lot of matches. This is only our second tournament of the year, so they are excited about getting to compete."
